At this point, Arenas is a low-risk, high-reward signing for the Lakers. As Kobe Bryant said: "It certainly wouldn't hurt, that's for sure."

I'm not surprised that Gilbert Arenas looked good in his workout with the Lakers. He worked hard over the summer and dropped roughly 20 lbs.
