Deron Williams has decided to re-sign with the Brooklyn Nets, according to his Twitter account.
Now it gets interesting.
Will Cuban sign Nash to a contract for MORE than he was willing to 8 years ago because he thought he was too old then?
its between us and Dallas now. Knicks out over Lin and Fields poison pills Brooklyn picked Deron Williams
And there we have it.@DeronWilliams
Made a very tough decision today ...
"I have self-doubt. I have insecurity. I have fear of failure. We all have self-doubt. You don't deny it, but you also don't capitulate to it. You embrace it. You rise above it." -Kobe Bryant
With New York out of the Steve Nash race, and Williams appearing to stay in Brooklyn, it seems the only two suitors for Nash is Dallas and Toronto.
Toronto already offered a 36M - 3 year deal
Does Dallas have a chance to match? What could they offer, and is the answer through sign and trade?
Cuban v. Colangelo...bring it on
...and then there were two.
Or maybe Nash just screws everyone and signs with Indiana and the Pacers take the league by storm next year.
Shudder. I can already see the smug look on Granger's dumb face.
Would it be too much to order a hit on Cuban? We've come this far.......
does anyone find it strange we have heard nothing about Dallas' pitch for Nash? Also funny that the news is up on the Dallas Morning news site but no mention on the New York Post site yet
We'll probably hear his answer by tomorrow then. Are Cuban and/or Dirk in town? I hope they are traveling.. will make it easier for Nash to say no to them.
I am directly to blame for Deron Williams signing
I sent the following tweet directly to him 38 minutes ago
"Timothy Hedden @trhedden
@DeronWilliams seriously dude make up your fucking mind already."
Dallas is expected to offer Dragic more or less what he wants....Nash will either be ours or back in Phoenix
Fight of the year:
Sonnen vs. Silva or Colangelo vs. Cuban?
