Don't forget NO has 2 lotto picks. They have a bright future.

If we're looking for a silver lining, we'll be picking 37th in the second round, rather than 38th if we drafted before the Warriors.
LMAO! I feel ya brother!
Didn't the Cavs lose Lebronothon James the year the won the lottery? I think we need to lose our best player the year prior to the draft lottery. Oh wait, we don't have one... :P

Its completely rigged. Well played NBA. Well played.

They did not quit down the stretch. They might have rested Ariza and who really knows what is going on with Okafor's knee but the guys who did play, played hard. Much like Casey in Toronto, that is a testament to Monty Williams as a head coach.
Positives for Toronto:
1) They didn't slide.
2) Anthony Davis is in the West.
3) Brooklyn has lots a valuable trade chip meaning it is less likely Dwight Howard ends up in the Atlantic.
1. New Orleans - Anthony Davis
2. Charlotte - MKG
3. Washington - Drummond
4. Cleveland - Beal
5. Sacramento - Robinson
6. Portland - Barnes
7. Golden State - Sullinger (maybe?)
8. Toronto - Waiters
9. Detroit - Zeller ?
10. New Orleans - Lilliard
11. Portland - Harkless ?
12. Milwaukee - Rivers ?
13. Phoenix - Perry Jones ?
14. Houston - Terrence Jones ?

There's talent to be taken where we are. I have faith in BC when it comes to drafting.

Well, if you're desperately looking for a silver lining in all of this; when you consider JV coming from overseas this year (hopefully with no hiccups), we have 2 lottery picks! A general consensus #2 pick if drafted this year in JV (sorry I have no back up for this statement) and a #8 pick. So perhaps we did okay.![]()

the lotto prayer did nothing. nothing.
At #8....Let's see...
P. Jones, just to give Casey a crack at him, to see if he can be moulded.
A. Rivers, not the best talent, alot llke Bayless, but wants to prove himself more than anything. Again, maybe Casey can mould him.
Barnes, if he's available. Why not?
Waiters....interesting. A big throw of the dice...still, has a good defence game, could be Wade-like, probably more Ray Felton like....interesting
Damned Arsenalist had me dreaming #1 with his article....BTW, Arsenal, my fave footy team, after TFC that is...
If it wasn't for Sterns involvement I'd like new orelans to win but seriously after Katrina, losing Chris Paul thay really needed this. But still PJ3 here we come baby.
The pick here in this draft at #8 will kinda cement BC's reputation as a good drafter. It's going to be a spot where he'll have a good number of decent prospects to choose from. At this spot I am not sure whether he should go bpa or need. Hopefully both converge.
