Odom to Clips with Mo Williams headed to Utah. No idea what the mavs get in it all.
Utah has a large TPE from Okur.. I'm sure that will be going back to the Mavs. The Mavs want to unload as much salary as possible so that they can get DWill in free agency.

The Los Angeles Clippers acquired Lamar Odom from the Dallas Mavericks as part of a four-team trade also involving the Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets.

The Clippers sent point guard Mo Williams to the Jazz and the draft rights to Furkan Aldemir, the Clippers’ second round selection (53rd overall) in the 2012 NBA Draft to Houston while the Jazz conveyed the draft rights of Tadija Dragicevic, Utah’s second round pick (53rd overall) in the 2008 NBA Draft to Dallas.

To complete the trade, Dallas sent the draft rights of Shan Foster, the Mavericks’ second round selection (51st overall) in the 2008 NBA Draft to the Jazz with Houston sending cash considerations to Dallas.

HANG TIME CAPITAL BUREAU – The Brooklyn Nets are “very close” to acquiring six-time All-Star guard Joe Johnson from the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for guards Jordan Farmar, Anthony Morrow and DeShawn Stevenson and centers Jordan Williams and Johan Petro, as well as a protected first-round pick that came from Houston, according to a league source.

Damn! Reggie is off to B-K-L-Y-N! I don't wanna hate him again but I'm now forced to at least 4 times a year.

I hate when team like the Nets can go from absolutely awful to a team with such promise, possibly even championship contention if they land D12, within such a short time period. And we continue to soak up the rays in the land of mediocrity! FML

            http://www.hoopsworld.com/sources-ne...sign-and-trade apparently it's done.

Trade DeMar, Ed, Linas and let's get a superstar dammit!

Well, good for Reggie. I think he a few teams had a chance to look at him while he was a Raptor.

Not really a role I want for this team, but whatever.

Williams also considered signing with the Dallas Mavericks

Williams announced the news via Twitter.

Thats because he gets the most signing with the Nets. The new CBA seems to be working...tough to just walk away from about $25 really big ones guaranteed...unless of course the team had nothing going for it.

Now, what does Nash do? I think we shall know tomorrow. Action time.

Sixers Insider Dei Lynam reports that, according to a league source, the Sixers have acquired 6-foot-9 swingman Dorell Wright from Golden State. It is unclear what exactly the Sixers are sending in return, but CSNBayArea.com's Matt Steinmetz is speculating it is a player who is currently playing overseas, possibly Edin Bavcic, whose rights the Sixers acquired from the Toronto Raptors after he was selected in the second round of the 2006 draft.
                    http://www.ibabuzz.com/warriors/2012...or-draft-pick/

The Warriors have agreed to trade Dorell Wright to the Philadelphia 76ers, according to league sources. In return, Golden State gets the rights to a player Philadelphia previously drafted and stashed overseas. (Previously reported it was for a future draft pick. That was not correct)

                      1. Do you think Raptors could have offered similar offer? (James Johnson/Ed Davis perhaps?)

                      2. 76's now have log jam at wings: Andre Iguadala, Thad Young, Nick Young, Evan Turner, Moe Harkless, Dorrell Wright.

Does this make Iggy expandable and should Raptors pursue him?

I think so yeah but we don't have much to offer other than Jose and Ed

I would even argue that Amir Johnson and James Johnson could be involved in that trade along with Jose Calderon (They need a PF and a backup PG). We probably end up getting Vucevic if the trade happens.

                            New developments in that trade.

The Warriors will acquire Jarrett Jack in their trade involving Dorell Wright.

Wright will go to Philadelphia while New Orleans clears cap space and the draft rights to Edin Bavcic.

Former Raptor, Jarrett Jack, is now going to the Warriors to backup Curry. Nothing too interesting, but I thought I'd point that out in the trade thread.

Is Serge Ibaka worth 12 million a year?

yahoo sports is reporting that Serge Ibaka and The Thunder have agreed to a 4 year 48 Million extension. Assuming the numbers are correct, is that a good value contract? I'm an Ibaka fan, but not sure I'd want to spend 12 mill on him. Also I think this makes it more difficult for them to extend Harden.

They over payed him, imo. Though with current salaries of big men in nba it's becoming normal.
