Lakers would probably accept that in a second. They come out as winner. Bargnani is much younger and proven that he's getting better. Jose is one of the best pure point guards in the NBA. While Pau is aging and on the decline. Although he's still a very good player, it's not worth Jose and Barg. As for the Philly trade, we don't need to add in Demar to get Iggy if we're giving up the 8th pick. So for both trades, bad trades are bad!

So we trade our star and an expiring contract for an aging Gasol and our two players with the most potential and our first round pick that could potentially land us someone like Barnes for a regressing 28 year old Andre Iguodala. That seems great.

Then we sing an injury prone shooting guard who's making a career comeback and a depressive guy who's going downhill. Why not.

Seriously to get Iggy I would net give a lot more than our 8th pick and only one of Ed and Calderon.
