Andre Drummond scored just 3pts and grabed just 3rebounds against the magic in the summer league. I knew he was raw, but had no idea THAT he was that raw
He had a decent game vs. Utah. He is a weird player. He can hit a stepback mid range jumpshot but then shoots 20% from the freethrow line.

He is a really big project, but he is physically dominant. He controlled the Utah bigs unbelievably well. He is one of those guys, I think gets scrutinized throughout the first 2 or 3 years of his career, then begins to slowly play to his potential.

It will be interesting to see how this team fares without Demar.. It would appear that we don't really have a take-the-game-over type scorer on this roster. Which brings me to point two.. This is a great opportunity to see how Terrence Ross fares as a scorer. I'm pumped!
Also, it will be interesting to see how Ed does. If Acy out-hustles him and out-plays him this summer part of me wont really be surprised. I know the league hasn't even started yet, but Ed just strikes me as the guy who just needs a change of scenery.

Rodney Carney? Is he out of college or has he played in the NBA before? Name sounds familiar.

Interesting to see Daniel Orton on the list. Is he a FA? I always liked him and thought he could've used another year or two at college. Would be interesting if we could sign him as a 3rd string c and develop him to play behind JV

Surprised more people aren't up in arms with the fact that Triano is tasked with Coaching these guys.

Pretty certain it's the NBA Rodney Carney, drafted 16th overall in 06 and hasn't done much since. Apparently he was out of the league last year.

I guess we didn't get Machado. I'm kind of happy we have Orton on the team, he came out of college looking like he could make it as a backup C in the league.

Orton and Holloway could be two players to keep an eye on, aside from Davis/Ross/Acy/Uzoh.

So I was fighting the urge to over value our players like I do most of the time, and a player comparison for T. Ross came to my mind. True or false T. Ross = Dorrell Wright? (Sorry, not sure which Thread to put this under)

There is a 3rd string PG battle brewing on summer league roster!

Orton is interesting as has been said but I don't think he will amount to much - granted he has had little chance under SVG and behind D12.

Are we limited to picking up players only from our summer league team? From the few games I've watched! Lance Stepenson from Indiana and Yancy Gates from....not sure which team are guys to keep an eye on. Can't wait to see Waiters and Lillard in action so We know what we missed out on. It's been a while since I've had a good cry.

Very excited to see this thread...

    Haha

Tu Holloway is like 5'11" IN shoes. No thanks. I'll take Uzoh over Holloway anyway.
Sacramento's Isiah Thomas is listed at 5'9" and was the last player drafted in 2011. He made the team and was eventually given the starting job based upon his performance.
