    Default LeBron James to Toronto!?

    Hey all,

A slow day and just want to get some discussion going.

Let's just assume somehow we do something off the chain like offer Lebron James a 0.5% stake in MLSE to come play for Toronto.

How far does this Raptors team with him go in the NBA?
Entourage: Harvey - "E (BC) was right, there's genius in this (Bargnani)"
Ari - "You wanna buy it?"
    Harvey - "I do, for a dollar"

We lose the next 10 draft picks because it's illegal and Lebron's contract becomes null and void, making him a free-agent again. He signs with the Brooklyn Nets and proclaims himself King of New York.

The Raptors fall to the worst team in the league and are relegated to picking up the scraps that other teams do not want.

Our starting lineup in 4 years is:

    PG: Jimmer Freddette
    SG: Nate Robinson
    SF: Yi Jianlian
    PF: Ronny Turiaf
C: Amir Johnson (that boy loyal)

we set and then re-set the record for worst winning percentage in the league 3 straight years before MLSE sells off the remaining parts of the team and replaces the Raptors with a full-time Cirque du Solie act that does 82 shows a year in Toronto.

    Or

    PG: Jimmer Freddette (perfect)
    SG: Adam Morrison
    SF: Michael Beasley
    PF: Kwame Brown (or Darko)
    C: Hasheem Thabeet

haha much better, I was trying to come up with an awful team of washed up talent quickly and was drawing blanks mostly.

LeBron isn't a free agent. We can't offer him anything.

Any offer we make goes to Miami, not LeBron.

Don't think too hard into the logisitics.

    Keep it simple:

"Here LBJ, here's a shit ton of money coming in every year. You coming here + going deep in the playoffs means more money in your pocket. Oh yah and the Leafs aren't that bad anymore so they're bound to turn around (HA)"

so regardless of who holds his rights, cap hits, lux tax, etc.

IF he was on our roster today, how would we do?
deep playoff run? or second round exit?

If BC does not make a move for Lebron, he should be fired.
