Where do you have them? I think 7th is reasonable. I don't think they're that good by any means nor do I think they can get past the first round of the playoffs, but they have enough talent to make it in.

Jason Kidd will really turn the Knicks around in my opinion, him and Felton will be a really nice back-court.
Washington is being run by an inconsistent talent, whatever happens with him and Beal will be the story of next season.
Chicago's former MVP and his injury will be a step-back, but that doesn't take away anything that this team was very good without him.
Indiana, with the addition of DJ Augustin, retaining of Hibbert and George, and after a nice playoff run and match-up against Miami, I see the team growing and improving.
Brooklyn is still an 'iffy' for me, whether Humphries really is what he is (good stats on bad teams), the injury problems for Lopez, and the overall chemistry. Team looks good on paper, so I'll give them a top 3.
Boston with the additions of Jason Terry, and Courtney Lee, they've added youth and very good production in the back-court. Added young bigs Fab Melo and Jared Sullinger (possibly a draft steal), this is a re-tooled team, IMO, better than last season.
Miami. Well, LeBron James, say anything more? Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis to the fold?
I agree with RaptorReuben's comments, except for two things:
I think Kidd is done. I don't think he brings anything positive to the table at this point. I guess one plus is that the Knicks dont need a penetrating point guard (although Lin showed that one helps. And Felton is a below average guard. I think that the knicks backcourt is going to be a disaster. I'm actually leaning more and more to thinking they will miss the playoffs unless Stoudemire really steps up his play.
Also, I think the bulls will really miss asik, Korver, etc.
Yeah really starting to think, New York will be an interesting watch.
For Chicago, additions of Marquis Teague, and Kirk Hinrich should hold good ground for them. Even though they lose size, and shooting, they add a good point guard and a good shooter. Plus this thread is pre-mature, Chicago may not be done making moves.

I see Toronto at 11-7, though 7th seed would be crazy.
Why are the Knicks so high on the majority of the lists? I see them as a 8th-6th seed, not a 6th-4th seed. I really do not think they are good enough to have home court for the 1st round...
7th or 8th aint far fetched. With the players we got, we could become a elite defensive team and above average offensively
If Deng or Boozer go down, Chicago is in trouble.
Given the current situation of Deng and the history of Boozer, I'd be nervous as a Bulls fan.
why is everyone so sold on the nets being a top 4 seed? they have a weak bench and Joe Johnson isnt even that good. I put them 5-7 seed.

I was wondering whether the Bulls would pull a Spurs by bottoming out this year to get a high draft pick and good young players to pair with Rose next year. It looked a bit like that a couple of weeks ago with the Deng trade rumours, the Boozer amnesty rumours and getting rid (or just not re-signing) their benchplayers. But I have no clue what their plan is for next year now; it looks like hoping (praying) Rose comes back quicker than projected and at a high level at that.
If Rose is actually out till march the bulls are boned. They're a overrated team as is. You really think Hinrich will keep them treading water? He's a good backup at best.
I think Magic, Knicks and Bulls are out. Raps, Bucks and Nets are in.
Yeah if im the bulls I just call this season a wash and get a lotto pick talent infusion. It's the only way they're gettin it with their cheap owner and I don't see them making the playoffs if Rose is our till march.

Lopez, with all his faults, is one of the elite postplayers, probably one of the top 2/3 low post players. Johnson might be perceived as not that good, but he is a multiple allstar for a reason and Williams is arguably the most complete pointguard in the league. I think this big three could be a very good match.
