I'm guessing that the future 1 st rounder to Memphis is from Orlando which is why they are involved, Not bad. While Memphis loses a star SF, they get some flexiblity and a future 1st rounder. Orlando also saves some money and gets an equally good player. The only concern is see is for Toronto. While they become stronger, they exceed the Cap and become a little over crowded at SF.

well Kleiza would be moved in the summer of 2013, right now he is there for Valanciunus which will help him out. They can always let go of Anderson if they need to make room.

As for the First round pick, I do not know if Orlando would give that up for Davis but would prefer trading Redick straight up for him (last year of Redick contract and it doesn't look like Redick would want to be in Orlando long after they got Afflalo.) Toronto may need to be creative and buy or acquire one of the first round picks Orlando got from the D Howard trade . Mostly Orlando is involved so the Raptors can get their hands on a pure SG like JJ Redick and thus the production that is left by Derozan leaving to Memphis won't be missed.

OK then we can make two separate trades in that case. One with Orlando(Davis for Redick) and the other with Memphis. Quite good.

On second thought, the deal with Orlando is not necessary. Fields can take Demars place in the starting line-up, Better defense. Gay would more than make up for Demars absence offensively. Plus, keeping Davis is cheaper than acquiring Redick.

This is interesting. Although, with Mayo gone, it seems that Gay is the premier wing in town.

Also, a wing tandem of Fields and Gay would make for some really nice inside-outside work. Rather start Fields over Redick, being more of a shooter than anything else. Fields will give you a shots within' the system, defend and hit the glass for you.

Orlando I could see trading Ed for Redick. Ryan Anderson and Nicholson need a back up, and they dump Redick's contract. Not to mention Ed could turn into a good player in a situation where he'll have the ability to grow.

+1 Orlando not needed, can be done separately, unless the first rounder of Memphis is coming from Orlando, but what does Orlando receive? Also, Memphis wouldn't do this trade because they already have Conley, Bayless, and Wroten Jr. at the point guard spot. A huge jam of guards who will deserve/want playing time.

This doesn't make Memphis that much better, actually, IMO, it got worse.
