Interesting. We are 3 players over the limit. Although McGuire and Magloire aren't guaranteed, this is interesting. Anybody know any rules on the player limit?
Yeah, this seems extremely odd....
....wondering (hoping) there's a potential 2-for-1, or 3-for-1 deal in the works....

Pretty sure you can bring as many players as you want into Training camp, as long you cut them by the end of camp.
Thats how they found Jamario Moon I'm pretty sure.

They're just camp invites, and besides, both Magloire and McGuire aren't guaranteed I believe.
It's nothing. It's just bodies for training camp. Most teams do this.
Eh follow my TWITTER!
wouldn't be shocked if either of these guys (or mcguire) made the team
wright is crazy explosive
Does he play any defense?
Can they use them as "trade assets" or not? The official raptors site says about signings not invitations.
Training camp usually has a few extra bodies kicking around, I don't think we need to read too much into this.
I will say this though, Jerel McNeal had a great year in the NBDL in 2010/11 and played very well in Europe last year. He could be a decent 3rd PG if Jose does get shipped out, and that could be the teams motivation. Give him a look now and see how he fits with the guys on the team, then if Jose gets moved in a few months you have someone familiar with your sets and his new team-mates. Also he is a decent sized PG, something that Lowry and Lucas III are not.
wright will play in the nba this year, probably more likely to do so than mcguire
