Truly, I think he deserves some questioning for the defence this year. He got arguably better defensive personnel overall, and yet our defence has gone in the toilet with very minimal offensive improvement.

As intriguing as that would be, isn't he a FA next summer? Seems unlikely he'd stick around. The reality of the Raptors organization right now is that the best way for them to acquire talent is by trading for players who are locked up.
Acquiring a guy with just 1 year left wouldn't really be wise
