This thread is meant to inform and update you all on "What ever happened to..." or "Where is ... now?".

I'm sure we've all come across a player's name or thought of an old player and wondered where they are now. Here's your chance to read up on some players or contribute to it.

    - Up until 2008, Kemp tried to make a comeback with the Mavs and Nuggets but didn't make the teams. He played in the Italian league but was cut in 2008 at the age of 39.

This one isn't really NBA related but when I seen the Shawn Kemp bit I just recalled this NFLer. Travis Henry has 11 kids with 10 different women... He's also one of 99 grand children!! He's just keeping up the tradition I guess.

2009: Maxwell was arrested in Florida for violation of probation charges related to failing to pay child support.

        Keon Clark
As of 2005, Clark was residing in his hometown of Danville, and his off-court issues remained a factor in day-to-day life.

In 2003, Clark was ordered to pay $8,500 per month in child support to his long-time girlfriend, Jamie Hall (Hall v. Clark (In re Keon C.), 344 Ill. App. 3d 1137)

Clark was scheduled for jury trial on August 14, 2006 in Vermilion County, Illinois on: 1 Count of Possession of Cannabis, C misdemeanor; 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Class 4 Felony; and 2 counts of Possession of a Firearm without a valid FOID, class 3 felony.[3]

In addition to these legal woes, Clark was recently in trouble for driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and DUI.[4][5]

On September 20, 2007, he was sentenced in absentia in Champaign County to 30 months in prison for driving on a suspended license. He was not present at the sentencing, and an arrest warrant was issued for him.[6] On October 11, 2007, he was sentenced to 30 months of prison in Vermillion County Circuit Court on a different charge, for not having a firearm owner's identification card and for possessing drugs.[7] The State's Attorney office wants the sentences to be served consecutively.[8] He was arrested on October 18, 2007 in Splendora, Texas by the US Marshals.[9] The prison term for his Vermillion County conviction was thrown out and new sentencing hearing was scheduled in December 2007. During the hearing, Clark has said he is an alcoholic and "never played in an NBA game sober", drinking alcohol at halftime break of games. He also claimed he was getting help for his alcoholism in rehab in Texas.[10] On December 29, 2007 he started serving his Champaign County sentence, and his Vermillion County trial has been scheduled for March 2008.[11] He was found guilty on the Vermillion County charge in May 2008 and can receive an extra year in jail. He still faces other charges, including disorderly conduct for filing a false police report in January 2007; criminal damage to property over $300 in September; and three counts of aggravated driving after suspension stemming from two incidents in March 2007 and one in July.[12] Yet another trial that he was supposed to attend in Vermillion County in August 2008 had to be postponed because he was in prison in Indiana at the time of the trial due to probation violations.[13]

          Latrell Sprewell

Sprewell's personal life since he last played in the NBA has been plagued with controversy and financial trouble.

On August 30, 2006, Milwaukee police investigated a claim by a 21-year-old female who claimed that she and Sprewell were having consensual sex aboard his 70-foot (21 m) yacht, named "Milwaukee's Best," when Sprewell began to strangle her. Police allegedly observed red marks on the woman's neck. Police investigating the allegation searched Sprewell's yacht for evidence.[5] On September 6, 2006, police indicated that he would not face any charges from the alleged incident. Sprewell is seeking a restraining order against the woman along with "civil remedies" against the accuser.[6]

On January 31, 2007, Sprewell's long term companion sued him for $200 million for ending their relationship agreement. She claims Sprewell agreed to support her and their four children since they were in college.[7]

On August 22, 2007, it was reported by multiple news agencies that Latrell Sprewell's yacht was repossessed by federal marshals after Sprewell failed to maintain payments and insurance for the vessel, for which he reportedly still owed approximately $1.3 million.[8] In addition, while piloted by Sprewell, the yacht was run ashore near Atwater Beach, just north of Milwaukee. Sprewell refused to contract with a professional salvage firm to remove the yacht. The yacht was eventually freed with the help of a local fishing vessel.[9]

In February 2008, Sprewell's yacht was auctioned for $856,000 after he defaulted on a $1.5 million mortgage,[10] and in May 2008 a Milwaukee area home owned by Sprewell went into foreclosure status.[11]

I wonder if Spreewell issued a restraining order against P.J. Carlissimo and sought "civil remedies" after he strangled him also? This guy's a total whackjob with obvious anger-management issues.
