  • worst move of the summer?

I love JV but we are getting absolutely throttled in the paint because of lack of 1)experience and 2)bulk.

Signing landry fields instead of signing a veteran centre has cost us some games. And will continue to do so.

i seriously think we might end up regretting the lowry trade soon enough.

I still don't get why they Raptors did not just retain Sonny Weems and gave him what he wanted and that's like 3 million a season for like 3 years instead of Fields which was double that, at least Sonny can shoot the fucking ball.

No the worst move of the summer was BC betting this season on AB 13 game performance encore which is not coming.......and signing Fields/lucas when he could have got Cj watson and kyle korver real shooters.

CJ is probably the best back-up point guard in the league, he wouldn't sign to be a 3rd stringer. Korver would've been a good signing, but it wouldn't address the 3 spot.

Jose is soooo good at those last minute buckets when he's right under the rim.

signing Cj would allow Bc to move Dribbles and filler to let say denver for wilson chandler or something creative anything better than what we have now ....0.o

The dude had some nerve problem in his arm that he needed surgery for. He's easily a better shooter than sonny weems and a better defender. There's a reason he's in Europe and not in the NBA

Landry's signing was a result of blocking the Knicks from acquiring Nash and was therefore overpaid BUT he is not a bad player. Let's not be quick to judge him based on his injury laden performances in the first few games. He will be OK when he returns.

No! No Wilson Chandler please. He's been injured since he signed that big contract. Denver is trying to trade him, he's the odd man out of Denver's SF rotation. Iguodala-Gallinari-Chandler, that's too much money committed to the same position. And the hace Quincy Miller.

We don't need another ball hog in the perimeter.

When he comes back from injury the raps should jump on him quick he is 6'8 decent defender who can shoot the 3 and big enough to guard the SF i.e melo lebron, durant your telling me you would rather have linas or fields? 0.o

He's not a decent defender, he hasn't played up to even his relatively mediocre NY form anytime since he arrived in Denver, and he seems to have forgotten how to shoot. He's Landry Fields, but without the good judgement not to take bad shots, and with a worse contract. Nope nope nope.

So much hypothetical ? Who says Cj and Kyle don't wait to see if they get offers from playoff teams before the accept to sign with Toronto..

JV needs a vet or more competent coaches to help him with his game, and as usual toronto cannot provide that for him, so i fear for his development ending up like bargs progress over 7 years.

whats worse is that they dont give him as much minutes as he needs, so even his learning on the court is limited
