    Default Raptors Rebuilding Deals

I was a big fan of Lowry's game at the beginning of the season, but now i'm starting to dobt him. Takes too many terrible shots, and always gets beat on D. What if we trade Lowry and/or Bargnani and/or Jose...for picks and huge contracts. Lowry is a free agent soon...but he is under extremely cheap team control.

Lowry to the hornets for their 2013 first rounder
Reasoning: If they stay healthy, the Hornets are not far from the playoffs. They have a solid core in Davis/Gordon/Anderson but could use an upgrade over vasquez/rivers.

Bargnani and our 2013 second rounder to the Cavs for their 2014 First Rounder.
Reasoning: The cavs need some front court scoring, and Bargnani would pair well with Andy. The Raptors need to wait a year , but they get a probable lotto pick in a loaded draft

Kyle Lowry and Bargnani to Sacramento for 2014 first rounder, Jason Thompson and Aaron Brooks.

I wouldn't be desperate to trade Lowry. But lets say the issues in the locker room are really bad to the point of being irreparable, how about this:

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=cpoumyh

    Utah: Lowry
Toronto: Bell, Burks, 2013 GSW 1st round pick, unprotected 2014 Utah 1st rd pick

ESPN Weekend Dime said Jefferson or Millsap would be dealt for:

It's a working assumption in front offices all over the league that the Jazz will trade Jefferson or Millsap for a front-line point guard at some point in the next 10 weeks.

They could keep Millsap and Jefferson to help address their wing situation instead.

Bell and Burks have both been rumoured to be on the trade block. Bell would help with any deal with LA since they are reportedly interested in him since his falling out in Utah and tried to sign him when he signed with Utah originally. Burks had solid stats at Colorado but has not done much in the NBA. Just 21. Key here would be the draft picks. GSW is top 6 protected this year and next. Assuming they make the playoffs it is likely to be in the 16-19 range. Utah's 2014 pick could be lotto with Jefferson and Millsap possibly elsewhere and a very young front court.

Not saying I'd do this, just keeping with the thread idea of trading Lowry.

Unlike all your trades im actually proposing something realistic. We would get a cheap/decent starter and a pick that should be top 10 in a loaded draft.

Raptors98 has a point. You really have no right to say that his trades are wtf especially when you're trades are even worse...
