This? Eric Bledsoe...I think that it's probably unfair to the Clips, but this is just a starting point. Hopefully...
I love Bledsoe, but I don't think he gets traded by the deadline unless they have a major injury to another position.

Also, yeah, your trade is totally unfair to the Clips. Kirilenko is a good player, but they get more than enough by committee between Barnes, Butler and Hill. They wouldn't give up Bledsoe for that.

This thread is not helping me deal with the pain of losing Jose. We had a great back up PG. He was so good he out played the person who was supposed to be the "starter." I do like Lucas & am waiting to see Lowry have more time on the floor. Still I think it's time we found a solid starting PG. We should start there first. I'm am sick of this "two headed" point guard thing we have gotten used to in Toronto.

You guys are missing the most obvious backup point guard -- Jose Calderon.

nope. he plays mediocre at best as backup and clearly sees himself as a starter

I wouldn't be against getting Calderon on our team, I heard he's pretty solid, but I wouldn't want to give up anything of value to get him.

With the way Lucas has been playing as the back-up, I don't mind holding this off right now. Also, DO remember when Derrick Rose was out. Watson and Lucas were huge, more specifically Lucas to his play as a back-up.

Lucas does maintain the pressure at the very least though... I still think hes better just being the 3rd string I wish we had landed CJ in the summer he was so close to being a Rap dam Brooklyn money.

JJ Barea or Luke Ridnour? Minny is a bit overstocked at the 1 position, and they need mins for Rubio, lets give it a try?

I'm kind of hoping that another team offers Jose a nice 1 or 2 year deal to be a stopgap starter somewhere. Then we can re-sign him when he's genuinely incapable of even being discussed as a starter.

I mean, he was never mediocre as a backup. He was solid. His salary was unacceptable for a backup though, and we never got someone who could clearly outshine him as a starter. If you were paying 3-4 million for Jose, getting 7 and 5 with one turnover and great %s....that's an amazing backup.
