Toronto Sends: Andrea Bargnani, Demar DeRozan, Aaron Gray
Toronto Receives: Carlos Boozer, Kirk Hinrich, $3.3M player exception (for Demar)

Toronto removes the glut at the swingman position, allowing for Ross to get more minutes. We also replace Bargnani with Boozer, a PF known for rebounding who has also improved his defensive rating under Thibodeau. Hinrich provides us a formidable backup PG who can start if/when Lowry has injuries. We also shed quite a bit of salary given Demar's extension.

Chicago Sends: Carlos Boozer, Kirk Hinrich, Richard Hamilton, $3.3M player exception (for Demar)
Chicago Receives: Pau Gasol, Demar Derozan

Chicago receives a better passing PF that better compliments Noah's game and also has Finals experience (and rings!). He also has one year less on his contract than Boozer. Demar steps in as their starting SG in place of Hamilton and works great off of screens and as a catch and shoot player, and will likely improve his efficiency as he is no longer a number one option.

    Lakers Send: Pau Gasol
Lakers Receive: Andrea Bargnani, Aaron Gray, Richard Hamilton

The Lakers get a stretch forward that would work very well in a D'antoni or Kobe-passing offense. Aaron Gray is another big body they can use with the injury to promising big man Jordan Hill. Richard Hamilton comes in off the bench for Kobe and Ron Artest to become the beneficiary of some Steve/Kobe passes and Dwight kickouts, and has lots of playoff experience to fit in well as a veteran.
