People in Toronto appreciate their blue collar players. When Reggie enters a game he gives you everything he has even if its not as much talent as Bosh has in his pinkie. He will bring high energy to the court. He's scrappy. The Rockets are getting it done in the West with a bunch of scrappy guys and neither one of them is flashy or exceptionally talented.
Totally agree with you. That is why JYD and Oakley are both considered great Raptor players because neither of them were polished offensive players and neither were in the top 10 players in any stat, but they both gave everything they had when they were on the court and worked harder than anyone else. Reggie could be the same type of player for us and that is why Toronto fans are so excited to see him play. Blue collar players are hard to come by these days in the NBA so when you get one that has the right attitude, it can't hurt.

Um, NBA.com has him averaging 4.3 points and 6.9 rebounds in 19.6 mpg for his career. Your stats come from his last season in Philly. But you're right, we don't become an elite team with Reggie. But it does give us another guy to use to counter match-ups, and that added flexibility is similar to a mid-season acquisition.
Oh yeah there is no doubt he brings in toughness and there won't no easy baskets when he's on the court plus he hustles and know what his strenghts are.
