Why are people booing Bargnani?
I'm not the biggest Andrea fan around here but the reaction that AB got tonight was EMBARASSING. You don't boo your own players PERIOD.
It's not his fault that he didn't live up to his 1st overall pick expectation. But he's still a good player. If you want to boo, boo Colangelo or Gherardini.
AB just came from an injury. 1st game back after 2 months and you boo him? guess what, he's the Raps 2nd best player tonight. And i think he's the Raps 2nd best player overall.

I disagree with it being classless. Fans have a right to express themselves. To me, the booing is a communication to management that they're fed up with this guy and he needs to be moved. Played a decent game but we all know it isn't going to last. It's not like BC is reading the forums here at RR so a boo can be quite helpful in getting a point across. If you don't want to be booed, don't suck.
And this is why guys don't want to stay in Toronto.
Disagree again. Look at the reception Rudy Gay got in his first game. Toronto is begging for a star player and team to cheer for. They've just become jaded from the constant losing. Why cheer for players or a team who isn't winning? Embracing average players and treating them like all-stars is what got us into this mess to begin with. Perform or get booed. Simple.

Raptors WERE one of the worst teams, that's the cruel truth. Those fans are not real fans, they're just haters. I'm sure when he has more good games, they're gonna jump on the bandwagon. I'm sure of it.
