  • minor TOR-MIN trade

Here are 2 trade options that address weaknesses for both teams, while dealing from positions with the most depth on each team.

    Option #1: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=avzl2m3

    Year 1: Minnesota adds $600,000 (pro-rated for 1/2 season)
    Year 2: Minnesota adds $280,000
    Year 3: -
TOTAL: Minnesota adds $880,000 (over 1.5 seasons)

    Option #2: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=a46yboj

    Year 1: Minnesota adds $106,500 (pro-rated for 1/2 season)
    Year 2: Toronto adds $87,000
    Year 3: Toronto adds $4,519,500
TOTAL: Toronto adds $4,500,000 (over 2.5 seasons)

    Minnesota
    - add wing depth
    - clear logjam at PG

    Toronto
    - add PG depth
    - clear logjam at wing

I think it's a pretty fair, simple trade that could benfit both teams in the short-term, without changing the long-term finances of either team.

    * I tried to trade Anderson & Lucas, thinking Lucas could also play some SG for Minny, but their combined salary isn't high enough to return either PG

Prefer the Ridnour option. I have no desire to watch JJB barrel into the lane.
    Welp, that sucked.

Love the Ridnour one. It would be great if we could get that one done.
