Matt Devlin and Walle, what an odd couple! It could be fodder for a reality TV show. Matt and Walle party together, etc.....
Matt and Wale getting tattoos, going to a massage parlour, sharing a pipe.....the possibilities are endless.

I used to bump this back in the day (last year)

I'm a fan of wale's music. So I might be a little biased, but they are both in the wrong here. Devlin for being ignorant, and talking about something he has no clue about, and wale for overreacting.

Wale was better IMO before he signed with MMG.

The ladies love this song, at least the whores that I know.

i thought that album he came out with last year is underrated, but I'm not a big fan of rap....

What bothered me was the amount of time they spent talking about Wale while a game was going on... They sounded like idiots... I don't wanna hear those 2 gab like school girls... call the game...

either way, if nobody knew him before, people will know him now, and he should thank Matt for it.
                  +1

How many people on this site alone have now heard of him and or heard his music for the first time?

I didn't watch the game, but I don't see how Devlin was in the wrong? They guy's job is to talk, so he's obviously going to say something non-basketball related, at some point. It seems like it was more a shout out to a local celeb than a dis to Wale. But I haven't heard of him either. It's not like Devlin is Dr. Dre, aka the Godfather of rap. If I was a rapper, and some honky-ass haircut wearing mutha f@#$cker didn't know who I was, I'd probably be like, "My shitz too real for him." Anyone who wants hip-hop credibility is not looking to MATT DEVLIN for approval.

For some reason the artwork reminds me of Joan of Arc from the Clone High cartooon.

Our announcers do have a problem with this, there are many times where I'm like, why the f#$k are they even talking about this? But they're not in the wrong, they're just bad announcers.

There it is. And if it is not Wale it is some other jibberish.

DMX is too real for twitter, you think hes trolling but hes dead serious.

Yea Wale is a rapper one or two songs are decent these days . I have one for driving thats it, his lyrics lost all substance once he joined forces with Rick Ross & company, sold his soul for a Maybach.

all this rap stuff, lyrics, image - pointless for me, I'll never understand it. "Bitches, niggas, money, weed" meaningful.

in all fairness, that game was getting to be a bit of a snoozefest

I would take it as a compliment if fucking matt devlin didnt know my music. He would have lost SOOO much more street cred if Matty D was like "wale, oh yeah me and the fam bump him in the whip while i drive my kids to school."

(then leo's like "oh yee, his shit tight")

When I saw him going up to confront Devlin, I thought he must be stupid to be angry about getting so much exposure. Then I thought, how much more exposure would he get if he knocked Devlin around. Looked like Leo woulda made a run for it if he had become violent. Was waiting for them to talk about what happened but they were too afraid the bully would get angry, didn't mention his name once after that.

Never heard of him. The whole him and Gay thing are friends...the face Gay gave him after the 3...that was not friendly.
Part of the Rappers street cred is they take themselves way too seriously. That's why I can't take the music seriously.
It seems for the most part...angry and shallow. The deeper political stuff hasn't been in vogue for years. It just seems like a missed opportunity considering how many ears they're bending.
