Twice already that KL has tried to feed JV on his roll after setting a pick. Good sign that they try to reward his hard work.
gay consistently looks for him too

Why do the Raptors run that pin-down curl for DeRozen? That is exactly the shot the Pacers want him to take. He has to attack from there, not shoot a 20-footer.

Why can't they play like this every game?
They play better against very good teams, and play down to the sub .500 teams..

          Careful.

Rather: Why can't they play this way for 48 minutes.

The curl itself isn't the problem. It's a pretty effective set. Demar just needs to keep curling tight around the screen and take it hard to the rack instead of flaring off for a long 2.

if dd drive like he did vs hibbert like3-4 times a game, he is a 22 ppt scorer in the league.... maybe more cause he'd get a rep as an aggressive defender and get those 'superstar' calls.

Yes, exactly. But they need to know what they want from that set and not just take what the defense gives them. The Pacers are one of the best defensive teams in the league. They are giving him that shot for a reason.

A little bit bit of a mix up is needed or you'll be as visible as sh!t in the grass ...

Rudy Gay would have gotten that call.

As much as George is the better player, Rudy Gay vs. Danny Granger is an intriguing match-up, only because these are two guys that were on the Raptors' radar, and were two of the best, underrated forwards in the game at one point.
