  • Lakers benefiting from Referee Bias-The NBA is rigged?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZatX_6i5WY

So someone online put together a compilation of recent bad calls going L.A's way. Gotten nearly half a million views in a few days, and is starting some real discussion.

Pretty embarrassing stuff, if you ask me. Notice how aside from Dallas it is all at the expense of much smaller, less significant teams.

Lakers Playoff Conspiracy spreading on the net

There is a lot of people talking how bad the Lakers are playing this year and how much the refs are working hard to help them still make the playoffs. Of course there are a lot of people that simply hate the Lakers and many would love to see them fail. So, a little bias against the Lakers can always be expected from fans of other teams and those that hate the star studed Lakers franchise. During the Lakers recent push though, it got pretty obvious that something fishy - something out of the ordinary fishy - is going on in Lakers games. Many have picked it up and the "news" is spreading quickly. Here (bottom) is a pretty good video of some calls made during recent Laker games that were really close. The calls made in favor of the Los Angeles team are blatant and honestly shocking!

Furthermore, it's interesting to note, that the Lakers - who are accused of not using Dwight Howard enough and relying too much on perimeter play - are leading the league in free throw attempts. At the same time the Lakers get almost the least amount of fouls called against them!

Cherry pick much. Look at any team and you can find a whole mess of missed calls. The only way to actually check any conspiracy theories is to watch every single minute of every game of every team and chart the percentage of missed calls and wrongly made calls for and against every single team. Of course, that takes too much work; it's infinitely easier and more attractive to cherry pick a few moments you remember for a few teams (or one team, I guess) and cry foul.

Not to defend the Lakers, but the Hack-a-Dwight strategy probably consumes a shit load of those free throw attempts.

we need to stop ignoring the facts.

the video has shined light on the entire thing. we need to take off the rose coloured glasses, and see the truth behind this diabolical conspiracy.

there really is only a few explanations that make the most rational sense.

the illuminati, aliens, or the lakers are getting the benefit of the referee whistles as a way to cover up what really happened on 9/11

i will get to the bottom of this.
