It’s been incremental, but there has been improvement in this team as the season progresses. We’re not going to morph into some serious playoff team that will be a pest come the post-season, but things are happening. Also, I should have had Evans dressed at PF in my fantasy league instead of Odom, but the… Read more »
Even a half-french-half-nelson can’t stop CB4. It’s been a minute, but I’m back. Sadly, not a whole lot changed while I was gone.. The fortunes of this team have remained the same. Regardless of how we got here, the fact of the matter is that this team is worse off right now then when BryCo… Read more »
I’m not mad/upset/disgusted/disappointed/etc at the loss tonight. Sure Vegas had the Raptors as 8 point underdogs, but anyone with any sense wouldn’t bet on the Raptors unless they are playing the bottom of the barrel teams in the league. The fact of the matter is that the Blazers are a top echelon team, and the… Read more »
Portland Trailblazers 109, Toronto Raptors 116 (2OT) The biggest gaffe of this game wasn’t Jamario Moon fouling Travis Outlaw on a four point play which tied the game. It was the Raptors NOT fouling Brandon Roy when he rebounded the ball in the first overtime inside the arc with the clock ticking down and the… Read more »
Toronto Raptors 96, Portland Trailblazers 101 This one hurt real bad. It hurt bad because we had a chance to win it and should have won it. We shot ourselves in the foot by playing bad fourth quarter defense and not putting our best players on the court at the right time. The momentum of… Read more »
I was at this game in Auburn Hills tonight. Couple things: Sat 5 rows off the floor next to Andre Drummond's mom and Grandma who were across the aisle from us, so the family section. Paid $120 the day tix went on sale. My point is, that's is a way cheaper way to see the Raps if you can make the drive. Second point, the palace was absolutely FULL of Northern Invaders. We drowned out any and every detroit chant, defence chant, Drummond's mom who was quite vocal. And the Detroit fans, by the end were literally like "what the fuck is going on?" Where did all this people come from. It was so amazing to take over another team's building. As though we were trying to outdo the fans who rocked the Cleveland game. And to top it all off fuckin George Clinton was the halftime show! The raps players were loving it. And when the fight nearly broke out (malice at the palace 2) it would have been complete pandemonium, cause I swear it was 50/50 ratio of Raps to Pistons fans. The Johnson dunk was over Drummond and I want the poster. Nice work to any of the Republic who were at the game. Best Raps game I've ever gone to.
