I believe Chris Bosh hasn’t made up his mind. How can he? He doesn’t know how this team will finish. Nor does he know what teams will have cap room and what their plans are. However, more frustrating are the comments I’ve read recently about him not being worth a maximum contract. Frankly, I was shocked but it was worth “refreshing” my own thoughts on the topic. So I did a bit more research and concluded that:
Magic 104, Raptors 96 – Box In what amounted to another middle-finger being pointed at the Raptors by our ex-franchise player, Vince Carter had the last laugh again. How ridiculously ill conceived is this plan to honour Raptors greats of the past? I mean, Oakley was cool because he is years removed from playing, and he’s interesting…. Read more »
Wow, Friday against the Grizz didn’t work out at all. The Raptors looked like…the Raptors. They were getting burned from the perimeter, interior defense was suspect, team rebounding was non-existent, they weren’t sharing the ball, and weren’t hitting their shots. Perfect storm. Today, the Magic roll into town, and the unspoken rivalry is born again.

Even a half-french-half-nelson can’t stop CB4. It’s been a minute, but I’m back. Sadly, not a whole lot changed while I was gone.. The fortunes of this team have remained the same. Regardless of how we got here, the fact of the matter is that this team is worse off right now then when BryCo… Read more »
Kapono shoots as Lewis and Mason search for the quarter. First up, very disappointing to see Jason Kapono throw up a 14 in the finals of the three-point contest. He was the only pure shooter in the competition and for him to lose to a cast that didn’t even crack 20 is a shame. I’m… Read more »
“Yes Dwight, it does feel tighter” Grab the Opening Tip. Sorry Dinosty, don’t mean to bastardize your family tradition here, but duty calls. I sat down to write the Pre-Game for Orlando, when I realized it was a waste of time (I’m still gonna do it, don’t worry). If the Raptors got Bucked by a… Read more »
I’m sitting here wanting to talk about tonight’s game against he Bucks, but all I can think about is how Parker/Bosh/Calderon each played over 40 minutes, in back-to-back nights. In a game where the bench should have got some burn, they didn’t…and why you ask? Cause the bench isn’t very good.
I listened to the Cleveland commentators the whole game (I do this often now since I find the it to be comedic gold). Some things that were said:
- WeNorth (commenting on the WeTheNorth campaign, apparently the can't read the giant letters on the giant banners in their own stadium properly) - One announcer forgot DeRozan's name, called him what's his name as he went to the free throw line - Commentators were saying the Cavs should start hard fouling Lou, "put him on his britches". More than once. - Were in disbelief when Amir hit a three
