Raptors 121 – Suns 100 – Boxscore Sorry to dissapoint, but WordPress crapped out on me while I was in the midst of publishing this article and I lost pretty much everything, so I’ll just make a few points, and post my game notes:
The Jay Triano and Bryan Colangelo combination are on the verge of a dubious honor in Raptors history. At this point, it’s natural to wonder just how long these two can partner in their quest to return the Raptors to respectability.
You know that Seinfeld when George lies about being handicapped to get the job, and when they later find out that he’s not, they can’t fire him because he’s under contract so they lock him out of his office? Something similar could be done for Marco Belinelli. I’m joking, of course, I love Marco.
I listened to the Cleveland commentators the whole game (I do this often now since I find the it to be comedic gold). Some things that were said:
- WeNorth (commenting on the WeTheNorth campaign, apparently the can't read the giant letters on the giant banners in their own stadium properly) - One announcer forgot DeRozan's name, called him what's his name as he went to the free throw line - Commentators were saying the Cavs should start hard fouling Lou, "put him on his britches". More than once. - Were in disbelief when Amir hit a three
