As you can imagine, the players weren’t thrilled with how the season ended.
The Toronto Raptors didn’t just get swept on Sunday. They got their asses handed to them as the Washington Wizards advance to the next round with a 4-0 series sweep.
With the season now being over, some Raptors took time to reflect on Game 4 and the season at large.
Let’s start with Patrick Patterson, who was brave enough to speak the truth about the way the Raptors performed on Sunday.
Patterson: "Yeah, I'll say it, it was embarrassing. A horrific effort on our part.. it was just embarrassing, it was a letdown, it was ugly"

Kyle Lowry, who struggled yet again in Game 4 after picking three quick fouls and racking up six turnovers, owned up to being terrible.
Lowry on his playoff performance: "I was very unsatisfactory, to be honest and I've got to continue to get better. And I will get better"

Greivis Vasquez also owned up to his team’s predicament.
Vasquez: "We all have to blame ourselves… They just hit us and we couldn’t get back up. We just lost. The better team won the series"

And finally, DeMar DeRozan said what he always says, which is that he will use this as motivation. Hopefully, the rest of the team follows suit.
Hurt more than last year's narrow Game 7 loss? DeRozan: "A lot more. It's going to be a long summer for me… I have to use this as fuel."

I’m mentally and physically exhausted after that pathetic showing by the Raptors, so I’ll just speak for everyone when I say that I agree with everything the players said. They couldn’t get the job done and the Wizards were certainly the better team. Hats off to them, and it’s time to get to work this offseason.
