ESPN Magazine, a publication which nobody can quite figure out why exists, has taken time out to rank all major professional sports franchises and have allocated the Raptors position #94 out of 122. The Leafs are the worst, the Jays are 99th.
Here are their segment rankings:
Overall: 94
Title track: 110
Ownership: 87
Coaching: 102
Players: 89
Fan relations: 81
Affordability: 110
Stadium experience: 73
Bang for the buck: 45
Change from last year: -20
We’re 22nd overall in the NBA.
So, basically, our bang for the buck is top notch and our coaching is not so hot, while we remain off the pace of winning a title.
I have no idea what the point of this is.
