Tracy McGrady was interviewed during the Raptors-Magic game and reminisced about his time in Toronto, and remarked on the transformation the fans made between his first and third season. “The ACC was rocking that third year when we made the playoffs”, says McGrady as a single tear was seen flowing down his right cheek.
He also mentioned his decision-making process when signing with Orlando: “The way I turned out as a player here in Orlando, and Vince Carter. There was no telling what we could’ve done [if I had stayed in Toronto]. But if Grant Hill was healthy when I was here, who knows? When I signed on the dotted line, I thought we were going to build a dynasty [in Orlando], but I had no idea that he was that injured”.
