Raptors 905 game bumped from Sunday to Monday due to weather

Damn weather. Let's build a snowman in the interim.

The game between Raptors 905 and the Grand Rapids Drive originally scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday has been pumped to a 7 p.m. tip-off on Monday.

With the 905 in Westchester, N.Y., Friday night (recap coming shortly) and the weather in the area growing worse and worse, this buys the 905 an extra day to wait out the storm before traveling. The weather could complicate any plans the Toronto Raptors had to recall any of the three players on assignment ahead of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Norman Powell, Lucas Nogueira, and Bruno Caboclo are all on assignment, leaving the parent club with just 11 healthy bodies.

Anyway, nothing major here, just a one-day bump. With the Raptors off Monday and the 905 not in action again until Wednesday, there’s not a major cost to either side here beyond inconvenience. And hey, an extra day in Westchester! You just know Bruno and Bebe are building a snowman.
