All-Star Weekend was all about the city of Toronto, but the 65th annual NBA All-Star Game on Sunday had a much narrower focus: Kobe Bryant.
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar appeared in his 18th and final All-Star showcase, topping all vote-getters to punch his ticket. After receiving a terrific ovation from the Toronto crowd, watching a video tribute in his honor, and thanking those in attendance, Bryant scored 10 points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished seven assists in 26 minutes of action. He checked out with a minute to play, receiving yet another massive ovation.
On Monday, Bryant thanked Toronto for the experience, posting a gallery of his favorite photos from his final All-Star Weekend.
