Carroll feeling fine and wondering how many calls George wants, Drake fires shot, and other practice notes

Side-note: Raptors fans continue to travel extremely well, even in the playoffs.

The Toronto Raptors are up 2-1 on the Indiana Pacers, and confidence is high enough that the Global Ambassador is firing off shots on Instagram.

There are still matters at hand, though, with a quick turnaround ahead of Game 4. That tips off at 3 p.m. on Saturday, which means no shootaround, so Friday’s practice was the only session the Raptors will have before looking to steal a second on the road against what should be a very hungry Pacers outfit with their backs against the wall.

It ran pretty late, and I’m reeling from the Chris Colabello news, so here are some tweets.

I’m on Carroll’s side here. I’m not one to gripe about officiating much, but I’m a little confused as to where the Pacers’ indignation with the officials came from on Thursday (they had three technicals). They took 33 free-throw attempts to 16 for the Raptors, who normally live at the line and have been dominating the series near the rim. And George has taken 29 free throws in three games despite averaging just 6.5 in the regular season.

Not much got tweeted from the Pacers’ side of things, but nobody ever really says much except Vogel and George, anyway.

Here’s a cool gallery of fans who traveled to Indiana for the game. Tickets are apparently as cheap as $20 for Game 4 right now, and Michael Grange tweeted that some fans he spoke to had quality lower-bowl seats for $250. Get after it.

There’s also this, which is awesome.

While we’re here, here’s the latest episode of Open Gym, which includes a really cool opening two minutes or so.

Have a good weekend, everyone.
