DeMarre Carroll played 35 minutes in his return to defensive form as he held Paul George to 6-19 shooting, easily his worst night from the field. Though George did go 12-12 from the stripe to net 25 points, his impact on the game was marginal, and Carroll was the reason why.
The Raptors used single coverage against George and matched up Carroll on George at every opportunity, a change in approach from games 1 and 2, where DeMar DeRozan and Norman Powell got duties on the All-Star as well.
