If P.J. Tucker’s pre-game talk of adding toughness to the Toronto Raptors and his in-game deliver of said promise weren’t enough to get you on the Tucker hype train, his post-game media availability probably will. Not only did Tucker reveal that we wasn’t supposed to play and that he did all that without having slept, he also made it patently clear that things are going to change for this team on the defensive end. He even goes so far as to say the communication he, Serge Ibaka, and DeMarre Carroll are going to provide will prove contagious, lifting the defensive play of DeMar DeRozan.
Yeah, this guy’s gonna be a fan favorite in no time.
