Raptors announce preseason schedule; training camp to be held in Vancouver

A travel back-to-back in the preseason. What a world.

The Toronto Raptors announced their preseason schedule ahead of the 2018-19 NBA season on Wednesday.

Four of the dates and locations were already known, and a fifth – on the second night of a travel back-to-back in New Orleans – rounds things out at five games. Here’s the full schedule:

Sept. 29 v Portland in Vancouver (7 p.m. ET, 4 p.m. local)
Oct. 2 @ Utah (9 p.m. ET)
Oct. 5 v Melbourne in Toronto (7 p.m. ET)
Oct. 10 v Brooklyn in Montreal (7 p.m. ET)
Oct. 11 @ New Orleans (8 p.m. ET)

Prior to the beginning of the preseason schedule, the Raptors will hold training camp Sept. 25-28 in Vancouver, the fifth consecutive year the team is doing training camp in B.C. That likely means that media day will fall on Sept. 24 in Toronto.

The Raptors’ roster currently stands at 15 players and can grow as large as 20 for training camp. At this time last year, they had 17 players under contract, ultimately bringing 20 with them to Victoria.
