In what was a wildly entertaining game featuring the youngest of superstars across the league, Team USA came out victorious over Team World on Friday night.

Coming off a career game in Toronto versus the Washington Wizards, this weekend will be one to remember for Raptors swingman, Ogugua Anunoby. Back in late January, OG was selected to participate in the 2019 Rising Stars Challenge. Anunoby will be representing the United Kingdom, which in turn will see him suit up for the prestigious World Team. Although the inclusion of Anunoby was celebrated amongst Raptors fans, it would be remiss not to mention that many felt this was all a year too late for Anunoby. The Raptors forward was snubbed from the same exhibition this time last year after having an impressive start to his rookie campaign.

Despite his usual mild-mannered, passive personality — it seemed like OG was making the most of the All Star festivities. He enjoyed the night with his fellow young stars, even at one point conducting a 23-minute media scrum (yes, you heard that right — twenty-three minutes).

Anunoby was enjoying himself in Charlotte during Team World’s pre-game shootaround, dishing out a few laughs with Canadian native, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

And now welcoming your beloved Toronto Raptor to the 2019 Rising Stars Challenge.

Just a couple minutes into the game, Cleveland Cavaliers forward Cedi Osman found Anunoby in transition for a nice flush. The best part of this highlight might have been Danny Green — an in-game commentator representing the home state of his alma mater (University of North Carolina) — mentioning OG’s severely underrated athleticism:

“I’ve never seen athleticism as good as his and how easy he makes it look when he’s in practice. No warmup. Just dunking the ball… I was hoping he was in the Dunk Contest because I’ve seen him do some special things.”

I mean if you’re a Toronto Raptors fan, you probably know that OG Anunoby has an impressive fashion sense. We’ve seen him decked out in all types of designer brands, he can keep it totally casual and perhaps the best of all, we witnessed him rock the all-pink Spongebob Squarepants (or Hello Kitty) backpack during his rookie season.

Like the great teammate he is, here’s Danny Green putting his fellow commentators on game after being asked if OG is “kind of a weird dresser”.

Danny quickly responded with:

“He’s a very fashionable guy. Very fashionable. He’s up on all the brands, man.”

Here’s another OG rim-rattler courtesy of Brooklyn Nets forward Rodions Kurucs. This time around, OG was noticeably a little less kind to the basket.

Remember when Green said something about OG having underrated athleticism?

Yeah, about that.

Overall, this was certainly a game to remember. There were tons of highlight-reel plays (and a fair share of bloopers, as well) from almost every participant. The MVP of the 2019 MTN Dew Ice Rising Stars Challenge was awarded to Kyle Kuzma of the Los Angeles Lakers.
