There were a lot of strong candidates for highlight of the night on Friday, and I’m ready for argument as a result.
Foremost among them was DeMar DeRozan’s ludicrous alley-oop from Kyle Lowry. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a great in-arena clip of it. There were a few big threes captured, one of them a momentum-shifting Patrick Patterson make (no, seriously). A few clips of the returning DeMarre Carroll may have been worthy, too. Bismack Biyombo even caught a pass. These are all worthwhile highlights.
But some nights call for levity. If there ever was one, it’s Friday. And so for the highlight of the night we bring you the best part of the in-game experience at the Air Canada Centre, the inflatable Raptor mascot. He’s the best.
