 C | Dwane Casey I didn’t feel like the rotations were the problem tonight, but the team didn’t seem ready to play, and that has to be at least partially on the coach. There was a lot of old Raptors in this one, settling for one-on-one tough offense that wasn’t generating good shots. To his credit, he got the team to turn it around and had a chance to win it, but it felt like he was always adjusting just a little too late to get the win. | |
Things We Saw
- Milwaukee is really, really good. This team has been one of the best in the league since firing Jason Kidd, and they showed it tonight. They’ll be a tough out for anyone in the playoffs.
- Even though Jonas did get fouled on that dunk at the end of regulation, that’s not where the game was lost. The Raptors have to be better, and they’ve frequently shown this year they can be better. This was a rough performance that they almost won solely on talent.
- It’s a make or miss league. Milwaukee went 13/26 from three tonight, and the Raptors went 9/34. That’s part of the story, and the Raptors missed a lot of good looks that might go down on another night.
