This week on The Doctor is In with Phdsteve, after a week hiatus, I have called in the boys from the world wide roundtable to talk ball and we have a discussion about all the action in NBA and NCAA while continually tying it back to the Raptors!  Joined by my brother Mike (who knows college basketball), Greg Mason (the brain from the south), and Blair Miller from The Fifth Quarter Blog we discuss:

  • A little bit of Raptors ball from the last 2 weeks.  Mike, Blair, and Greg fill me in on all I missed while on vacation
  •  We talk some Jonas, some injuries, and some life after Kyle Lowry (lets hope that never happens)!

At about the 20 minute mark we shift away from the Raps and preview March Madness.

Here’s my bracket (in a low quality jpeg)

Mike and Greg are employees of the NCAA and therefore are unable to fill out brackets.

I appreciate JV. All I can say is that the three scouts that agree that JV would go number 2 in this year’s draft (you said possibly number 1 in this year’s draft on the last pod I believe around minute 17) seem to be chillin a bit too much with Rob Ford. Wiggins, Embid, Parker and Randle will all be better pros. Book it.

I had made a 43-win prediction, so you’re not alone. And that was with Rudy Gay.

In case you missed it, both Mike and Blair correctly picked the Dayton upset over Ohio State

    • Blair Miller

Actually, a friend just pointed out that I have OSU on the one .pdf you posted, which is true….But odd, because all my other pools i’m in except that one have Dayton, and I never changed it. Let’s blame whiskey?

Fans, never double check your brackets on St. Paddy’s day, I guess. Printout still says Dayton but .pdf is OSU.

Greg The Prophet also picked Dayton. And while I did not pick Dayton, I did pick Harvard!
