Brad Stevens raved about the Toronto Raptors during his pre-game media availability.
“Kyle (Lowry) has had a great year, but they’ve had great wins without him. Kyle has obviously secured a spot as one of the best point guards in the East. He killed us in both games that we played earlier this year. But, they are a very dangerous team even without him. (Grevis) Vasquez has had a great year. Lou Williams is has been a terrific pickup as far as scoring the ball and I’m sure they feel that way, especially now with Lowry out. They were missing (DeMar) DeRozan for a big chunk of the season, too. Their depth is good. If Amir Johnson doesn’t play, Patrick Patterson is a really good four for them. You’ve got (Chuck) Hayes. You’ve got (Tyler) Hansbrough. You’ve got those guys just sitting over there. I think that is one of the things that made them really take a step up the past few years is that they go to the bench and they are just athletic, strong and tough. They can play the way they want to play.”
