Ahead of Friday’s Celebrity Game, Toronto Raptors global ambassador, rapper, entrepreneur, hirsute face of the 6ix, and all-around likeable dude Drake received the key to the city from mayor John Tory.
“We have something extremely special in this place we call Toronto,” Drake said after receiving the honor, then focusing up for his head-coaching debut.
The NBA also announced that Drake will introduce the All-Stars at Sunday’s main event. That’s something he’s done for the Raptors on Drake Night in the past, and he’s sure to have some silly handles and intros ready for the league’s top stars.
Still no invite to his litany of parties for Raptors Republic, however.
