A couple of putbacks showed of his exceptional athleticism but his defence was less than beautiful tonight and it’s great he only played 25 minutes. He was responsible for four of the 12348123412341234 blocks the Raptors had tonight so that should spur him on towards the final stretch.

Casey went away from him due to matchup issues later in the game but his 16 minutes were effective and its good to see him take it easy with him still coming back from an injury. Was efficient with his shot selection.

Four Blocks! Bad Defence? Yes, that sadly made sense tonight. He had trouble staying in front of anyone and his blocks were often of the help variety. Hit a clutch free throw late in the 4th that sealed it for Toronto but it would be nice to see “improved JV” as the playoffs sit around the corner.

For a guy who had just 11 points he still was arguably the best raptor on the court tonight. He ran the bench in the fourth quarter, was money from deep and played some decent defence and even chipped in with two blocks. For the first time in a long time it feels like KLOE is getting better as the season wears on.

A non-factor in the 4th thanks to some poor defence earlier in the game, but was effective as ever from the field and helped Lowry share the rock. I always wonder how he feels when the bench closes out games but hey, the 30 minutes is nice.

FREDDDDDDDY. I found myself cheering that over and over again as he rained terror from deep and was a stud on defence late in the fourth. It remains insane that he is literally the Raptors’ closer but hey, it is what it is.

P. Siakam23 MIN, 12 PTS, 2 REB, 5 AST, 0 STL, 5-10 FG, 0-2 3FG, 2-2 FT, 0 BLK, 1 TO, -7 +/-

There’s just not enough praise to go around for Siakam. His energy is literally off the charts and he was a massive reason the Raptors won this game in the 4th quarter with essentially the entire bench on the floor. I love him.

When his shot’s not falling, his shot’s not falling. It’s that simple.

Solid in his run, especially in the fourth for brief stretches. Had one bad turnover thanks to lack of aggression but the more he matures the more he’ll take it to the rim.

A+
J. Poeltl18 MIN, 12 PTS, 8 REB, 0 AST, 0 STL, 6-9 FG, 0-0 3FG, 0-0 FT, 1 BLK, 1 TO, 7 +/-

I think he scored 45 points in 2 minutes.

Bebe!…was bad.

Dwane Casey

Should have made earlier adjustments to the bench with some of his starters struggling but still ran with his guys during the 4th quarter and had the guts to see it out. Liked the run he gave Poeltl late in the game but would have liked to see it happen even earlier. Continues to experiment with the Raptors basically having locked up the (dare I say) number one seed.
