3-time NBA Champion, Patrick McCaw has decided to leave the NBA Campus to seek treatment for a reoccurrence of a benign mass on the back left of his knee.

He’ll be visiting Dr. Riley Williams at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York to determine a course of action. McCaw saw Williams for the same condition in November. There is no timetable for his return.

Under NBA rules, McCaw is not eligible for replacement by another player, so the Raptors roster now stands at 16 players.

McCaw played in 37 games this season, averaging 4.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 24.5 minutes per game.

The Raptors used him primarily as a plus defender on opposing teams ball-handlers, and as a table-setter of sorts offensively. Get better soon, Pat.
