  • primopastaretarded

    He looks retarded literally

  • NyAlesund

It is strange to see him as Knicks’ player.

Don’t worry, we still felt ease and familiarity when he only grabbed less than 5 rebounds a game like last night.

If fans booed Bargnani as a Raptor and urged that he be traded for even a negligible return why do they boo now that they got their wish???
Some of our fans are basketball Philistines! They simply don’t get it.

They were booing the many years of laziness.

So, the Rapts fans booing Carter, Bosh, Turkoglu and Bargnani.
When do we start to grow up?

Bargnani said anything wrong except he wasn’t as good as everyone hoped.

If you have to boo someone I suggest you and the fans to boo Colangelo.

I was embarrassed to be a Raptors fan when the people at the game in Toronto decided to treat AB like he was VC. I wish the hooligans would stop doing it all together, but at least I understand the reasoning somewhat behind booing Carter ( in case you need a reminder watch this – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcTHP2K1ZWY )

If you really feel a passion to Boo VC for his wrong doings then fine, but Andrea did nothing to warrant this reception. He gave what he had to the organization, he was over-hyped and mislabeled by our former GM through no fault of his own. He spent much of his career recovering from injuries or sickness and just never got it going, but he’s gone now and we’re all left to start a new chapter. Booing him like he was VC dilutes the reasoning behind why we boo Vince in the first place.

It’s supposed to be a reminder to other players not to treat Toronto as a dumping ground for their crap or see it as a destination to get a free ride (just ask Turkaglu) it’s a team you play hard for because the fans have your back through thick and thin. Together we stand…but if we boo every player that leaves the organization then we’re just a town full of ugly people who boo anyone who used to represent us. This will scare talent away and Raptors fans don’t want that.

Unfortunately, I feel that a lot of the blowhards in the stands that showed up for the return of Andrea Bargnani weren’t Raptors fans, so much as they were Toronto hooligans looking to be ignorant and rowdy and found a target to outlet their belligerent behavior in the form of booing AB.

It’s time to prove we as basketball fans in Canada know the difference between chastising a player for his wrong doings and actions while a part of our team and respectfully letting go of a player that couldn’t hone what initially piqued our interest when he first became a part of this organization.

Wish him the best, look forward to the future of the franchise and save the boos for the day AB unloads for 40 and 10 against us. haha

I always believe we aren’t doing ourselves any favours with the vengeance persona. Publicity for the club is always good. Bad on the other hand, isn’t. That only works for Miley.

As I’ve always said, we have enough of an issue attracting players to this fair land, there’s no reason to pile on more. The pessimist in me sees no solution to the Canuck problem. The optimist sees a growing northern contingency to the majors, and figures maybe it’s time to start targeting Canadians. One at least.
