Raptors 905 streak snapped by Westchester Knicks

Late fourth-quarter rally not enough for 905

For reasons still yet unknown, this game was not broadcasted on YouTube – the only place you can catch 905 games unless you show up to the stadium. That’s unfortunate, since this will not be your typical 905 recap as there was no eye-test to rate our D League heroes today, and all we have for you is a box score.

The 905 ended up dropping this one despite two 35-point outbursts in the first and fourth quarters respectively where they outscored the Knicks 70-50. They started the game hot, hitting six threes in the first quarter, and their rally in the final frame came just a touch delayed after a subdued third quarter where the Knicks outscored them 34-14.

Scott Suggs was the team’s de facto scorer, leading the way with 23 points and shooting an outrageous amont of threes – 5/14 from behind the arc altogether. Shannon Scott, meanwhile, chipped in with 14 points on 4/8 shooting from deep.

The team also received a big contribution from Davion Barry who went 7-of-10 from the floor en route to 21 points. DeAndre Daniels started at the three and had a quiet game with just three points on 1-of-6 shooting.

With the loss, the 905 have their four-game streak snapped, and drop to third in the Atlantic with a 20-27 record – well out of the playoff picture.
