Yup, you read that right. The Toronto Raptors will host the Indiana Pacers for Game 5 of their opening round series at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
The strange time is a result of Cleveland and San Antonio both committing sweeps, with the league apparently wanting plenty of stagger-time between Raptors/Pacers and Hawks/Celtics. It is…weird. I can’t remember a 6 p.m. weeknight start, but here we are.
I’m sure plenty are going to be mad about this and cry disrespect, and, well, yeah, it’s a little odd. From a competitive standpoint, though, the Pacers have to start at 6, too, at least, so it’s strange for both sides. But rant away, I’m off to watch GoT, and I’m kinda too tired to get worked up right now.
