The team did not provide an updated timeline, but said Monday that his aim is to return by the postseason. Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical has reported that he could return in four-to-five weeks on the optimistic side of things, which would give him the chance to get into a few games to shake off any rust before the playoffs. There probably won’t be a firm update on his status over the next few weeks, but watching his escalation in practice could provide at least a bit of insight. On the bright side, Lowry can maintain his conditioning and work with his left hand while sidelined, though there remains a concern about comfort in his surgically cleaned-up shooting hand once he’s back.

Both Lowry and team president Masai Ujiri spoke about the injury Monday. You can read more about the procedure here.
