The most unproductive 30 minutes ever. Where WAS he? The seven rebounds were….um…nice? Looked like he had zero effort on the court and still can’t fins his range from three. Let’s hope this is a slump that sorts itself out before the playoffs.

Ok. Rookies have trouble shooting. We love OG to death here across the board. Yet….we need to talk about the 0-8 performance tonight…especially a lot of open looks. His on the ball defence and switches are still years ahead…but man if these shots don’t start falling it could be a SHORT spring.

J. Valanciunas30 MIN, 15 PTS, 11 REB, 0 AST, 1 STL, 7-10 FG, 1-1 3FG, 0-0 FT, 1 BLK, 3 TO, 3 +/-

Back-to-back strong games from JV has the hive BUZZING. Should have played even more minutes tonight. Was strong on both sides of the ball and a huge reason LMA had such a terrible game. I swear when he’s engaged there’s few players like him in the NBA. Kudos on another good one.

K. Lowry35 MIN, 24 PTS, 3 REB, 4 AST, 1 STL, 8-16 FG, 4-9 3FG, 4-5 FT, 1 BLK, 2 TO, 5 +/-

Kyyyyyle!!!!!! we’ve been waiting for this game, especially with how concerned everyone seems to be about your derriere. Well done good sir! Was confident from downtown and controlled the tempo well on offence. Had some CLUTCH d on that pesky Patty Mills in the 4th as well. KLOE.

D. DeRozan36 MIN, 21 PTS, 7 REB, 6 AST, 1 STL, 9-19 FG, 0-1 3FG, 3-5 FT, 0 BLK, 1 TO, 1 +/-

Hello Eastern Conference All-Star Starter! He didn’t play his typical “let me fill it up” game that has him garnering MVP votes, but he was active all over the floor tonight and finished with two more assists than his PG. This guy is doing EVERYTHING this year and tonight was another great example. Enjoy the ride.

D. Wright24 MIN, 5 PTS, 3 REB, 3 AST, 1 STL, 2-6 FG, 1-1 3FG, 0-0 FT, 0 BLK, 3 TO, 1 +/-

Great defence has become the norm for Delon…his length alone gets it done. Would have liked to see him be more decisive with the ball as an orchestrator with Fred out but still got the job done. Keep cashing those threes!

C. Miles21 MIN, 6 PTS, 4 REB, 0 AST, 1 STL, 2-7 FG, 1-4 3FG, 1-2 FT, 0 BLK, 0 TO, 5 +/-

His defence hurts this team…but as we saw the other night his shooting doesn’t. Tonight was one of those nights where the Spurs defence bothered the hell out of him and he never found his rhythm. He’ll bounce back.

J. Poeltl18 MIN, 3 PTS, 4 REB, 0 AST, 0 STL, 1-4 FG, 0-0 3FG, 1-2 FT, 0 BLK, 0 TO, 3 +/-

Fouls.Fouls.Fouls. Look, he needs to work on his defence and being overactive/late on assignments, but at the same time…this is how it is for young players in this dumb ass hierarchy of nba refs.

P. Siakam16 MIN, 6 PTS, 5 REB, 1 AST, 1 STL, 2-6 FG, 2-4 3FG, 0-0 FT, 0 BLK, 1 TO, -7 +/-

Simply put he needed more minutes tonight. He was so much more effective than Ibaka and was engaged the second he took the floor. His only two made baskets were threes and if he gives you that each night with hard defence than you’re laughing.

N. Powell11 MIN, 2 PTS, 1 REB, 1 AST, 0 STL, 1-4 FG, 0-0 3FG, 0-0 FT, 0 BLK, 1 TO, 1 +/-

I just don’t know guys, this is getting upsetting.

Dwane Casey

Should have wrapped this game up WAY earlier. Should have played Siakam way more. Should have run with JV to close sooner. Should Have. Should Have. Should Have.
