It’s hard to think about anything this summer other than the fact that Kawhi Leonard is a Toronto Raptor. But if you have a minute to focus your attention elsewhere we’d ask that you take a moment to support Nick Reynoldson and his dream of becoming a stand up comedian capable of supporting himself by the time he reaches his 35th birthday.
Nick is one of 18 comedians vying for the title of SiriusXM’s Top Comic. Up for grabs are spots at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festivals in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Sydney, Australia plus $25,000! Six comedians who receive the most online votes before August 17 will perform at JFL 42 in September for a chance at the prize.
Make no mistake, this post is a desperate plea for votes. Shout out to Blake and Zarar for letting it see the light of day. But also know that should he win, Nick will be looking out for Raptors fans.
“If I win I’ll buy Kawhi a shit ton of elastic bands for the end of his braids. As many as he needs for as long as he’s a Raptor. Win or lose this insane competition, I can’t wait until I see him play in a Raptors jersey. We are all winners really.”
