Flynn averaged 12.7 points, 4.8 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.5 steals in April, adding 43/41/88 percent shooting splits. Not bad for the 29th overall pick! Malachi is the 10th Raptor rookie to win the award and first since Norman Powell in April 2016.
Jonas Valanciunas, Jamario Moon, Andrea Bargnani (twice), Jorge Garbajosa, Charlie Villanueva, Vince Carter (twice), Marcus Camby and Damon Stoudamire (twice) have also won rookie of the month in franchise history.
