Reggie Perry named to All-NBA G League Second Team

We all knew a Raptors big man would make All-NBA.

Reggie Perry has been named to the 2021-22 All-NBA G League Second Team, the league announced today.

The big man averaged 20.3 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists with the 905, notching double-doubles in 16 of his 22 games played. Among Raptors 905 players who appeared in at least 15 games, he led the team in scoring and rebounding, and was second in steals.

Perry initially came to the Raptors’ main squad on an Exhibit 10 contract in September, and has played with the 905 since being waived before the start of the season. Throughout the season he spent time with the Portland Trail Blazers and Indiana Pacers on 10-day contracts, appearing in 10 games.

Toronto’s G-League squad had a strong season this year, holding the best record in the G at 24-8 and advancing to the Eastern Conference Final before losing in the one-game playoff against the Delaware Blue Coats.
